The illegal use of drugs and alcohol are common problems that invade most workplaces, endangering the health and safety of the abusers and those who work around them. DHC Comfort is committed to creating and maintaining a workplace free of substance abuse.
DHC Comfort has developed a policy regarding illegal substance abuse that best serves our customers and employees. It is not tolerated. We have implemented a pre-employment drug screening as well as periodic random testing. Every applicant must submit to a background check and pass a motor vehicle report to be considered for employment. A recent study shows shocking statistics that made our jaws drop. • 1 in 12 full time workers admits to using illegal drugs in the past month
• Men accounted for 2/3 of the workers who reported illegal drug use in the past month.
