When we realized our air was not working one hot July day, we called DHC immediately. Although it was late afternoon, a technician was here within the hour. Our unit was 16 years old and the technician was able to keep it going over the next few days but we knew it was temporary at best. Tammy guided us through the options and explained the various efficiency ratings to help us make the decision that was right for us. We have been very pleased with both the unit we chose and the prompt and courteous service from DHC. It has only been 4 months, but we already see the advantages. We have a more uniform temperature throughout the house and it cools down and heats up much faster than before. The efficiency of the new unit is also showing on my monthly utility bill. We are very happy with our decision to purchase an American Standard high efficiency unit and would recommend our choice.
