Jerry Denton opened DHC Comfort (DHC) back in 1998 and later changed the name to DHC Comfort, Inc. Jerry started in the industry right out of high school and loved it so much that he has made it his career. He met Tammy, his wife, when she remodeled homes in the 90’s. She joined Jerry at DHC in 2000. They are both very involved in the company on a daily basis.

They have four children, Kaleb, Aaron, Alston, and Amanda. Kaleb is married and lives with his wife Tiffany and daughter Riley Mae in Covington, TN. Aaron, Alston, and Amanda are all attending universities in Tennessee close to home. Family and friends are very important to Jerry and Tammy and that doesn’t exclude those in their company.

It is important to hire people that our customers can trust and feel comfortable with.” We live in the community that we serve and we go to church, grocery shop, and attend community events with our neighbors and friends– so we want to make sure they are taken care of in the best way possible.

Do You Know Which Product is really The Best?

My experience working in the heating, ventilation, and Air conditioning (HVAC) industry over the past 32 years has given me the understanding that the products and systems we install are only as good as the manufactures and vendors that stand behind them. Nearly all systems have warranties, but not all warranties come with a fast, friendly, and helpful service department during and after the warranties expire. We associate ourselves with only the manufacturers and vendors that we have consistently received dependable service from. This gives us the comfort of knowing that our customers will be taken care of during the times that they will need it the most.

All Installations are not alike.

Systems today are much more efficient and economical than those of yesteryears and can definitely lower your energy bills and other related costs. A high efficiency system installed with the wrong ductwork, electrical wires, piping, or even not following the proper start up procedure can certainly shorten the life span of a system and drop its efficiency rating to that of a much older model. That is why we have set a high standard in our company with certain procedures to follow for all installations and repairs. We hire qualified and experienced technicians that use these procedures with the correct instruments and tools to give you the best product available. All of our staff continues their education through classes that are provided by DHC, our manufactures, vendors, and HVAC and related Associations.
